Commercial Construction
Building for our Tamariki & Communities
Our Commercial Carpentry team is led by John (Director) and Mark (Project Manager), and is supported by Anthony, who joined the team as Quantity Surveyor. Together, they bring a depth of experience that has seen the team successfully deliver large-scale commercial and residential builds across the region for more than 30 years.
In recent years, we made the strategic decision to focus solely on commercial carpentry, allowing us to specialise and position ourselves as the number one choice for commercial construction in the region.
The team is currently working across a number of large-scale Ministry of Education and Kāinga Ora projects throughout the Tairāwhiti region. Our continued high-quality delivery on these projects has resulted in repeat work and long-standing relationships with these clients.
We are proud to have trained around 100 apprentices over the years, with many choosing to remain with the company long after completing their training.
Currie Construction was proud to deliver the below legacy project for the Mangapapa community. Built over four years in close partnership with the client, consultants, subcontractors, and school, it reflects decades of connection, craftsmanship, and commitment to education. With deep family ties to the school and a long history of work on the site, this project represents more than a building, it’s a lasting contribution to a community we’re honoured to be part of.
