Kim Currie
Senior Advisor: Commercial and Civil Construction
Company founder, Kim Currie is a Licensed Building Practitioner and Quantity Surveyor with 40 plus years’ experience in residential to industrial scale construction.
Kim has completed numerous projects including many of Gisborne and East Coast’s iconic buildings, architectural homes and public spaces.
Kim is a long-time supporter of the Master Builders Association and for eight years served as the local President.

John is a quantity surveyor and project manager with 11 years’ experience in residential to industrial scale construction projects. He began his career in Currie Construction as an apprentice, gained his trade certificate, and went on to complete a two-year diploma in construction management and quantity surveying. Since then, he has been involved in numerous residential to industrial scale projects.
In 2012 John became a company Director, overseeing all commercial building projects

Sam is a qualified quantity surveyor and project manager who began his career as an apprentice with Currie Construction and building his first home by the age of 18. He has over 10 years’ residential to industrial scale construction experience specialising in civil construction.
Since being appointed to Director in 2012, Sam has focused on strengthening the company’s civil construction capability.
Mark Van Wijk

Mark is a project manager and quantity surveyor with over 24 years’ experience in residential to industrial scale construction including 3 years with the Gisborne District Council’s Building Inspectorate.
Mark joined the company in 2004 and has successfully project managed over 50 projects for Currie Construction (commercial, residential and public sector). He continues to oversee all projects from residential to industrial scale.
