KAITIAKITANGA, HEALTH, SAFETY, QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT
Kaitiakitanga
Currie Construction supports Māori perspectives on environment and sustainability, including the exercise of kaitiakitanga by tangata whenua. We ensure that appropriate protocols are in place to manage accidental discovery of possible archaeological sites, kiwi or taonga in accordance with the requirements of Historical Places Act 1993 and Protected Objects Act 1975. We also work with local Kaumatua to ensure we act in culturally sensitive manners in these instances.
Health & Safety
We are committed to providing and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment on all of our work sites. Our health and safety practices are in place for the protection of our employees, our clients, the community and any site visitors. We continually make improvements and conduct regular site audits to make sure we are always working towards becoming better in our practices.
Quality
Our clients chose Currie Construction when they are seeking quality and reliability in their project delivery. Our continuous improvement practices allow us to continually meet and exceed client expectations.
